The Mariscal neighborhood was created in the late 1970s from a subdivision, and today it is one of the most charming destinations in Bombinhas.
Located to the south of the municipality, it borders the neighborhoods of Zimbros, Quatro Ilhas and Canto Grande.
Features and structure:
Mariscal stands out for its tranquil, preserved, yet well-structured atmosphere. Many streets are named after rocks, and the restinga vegetation creates a natural and harmonious environment.
The main avenue, called Água Marinha, has been revitalized and now has a promenade, cycle path, square, parking and leisure areas — a 450-meter stretch received the international Blue Flag seal for its environmental quality.
Beach and nature:
Mariscal Beach is about 4 km long and is among the cleanest in Santa Catarina, with white quartz crystal sand and crystal clear waters. Mariscal refers to the abundance of shellfish that can be found on the beach's shores.
The medium-sized waves (between 2 and 6 feet) are ideal for beginners and experienced surfers. The beach is also great for stand-up paddleboarding or simply relaxing on the wider, more inviting sand.
