The beach is extremely clean and has the international Blue Flag certification (environmental quality seal for beaches and marinas), with waves on the right side that allow for surfing, and calm sea on the left side, where kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or even diving to observe the local marine life can be practiced.
For the more adventurous, the beach also has two trails: one on the right side, passing along the rocky coast and leading to the pierced rock, and another on the left side, passing through the dense forest, which leads to the Four Islands Rock, one of the few spots in the city where you can see Bombinhas beach and Quatro Ilhas at the same time – a truly breathtaking view.
